Email marketing in Liverpool

I work with Liverpool shops and ecommerce brands remotely and monthly, inside your own email platform. This page covers the buyer habits and calendar worth planning around, from visitors to the Grand National.

Everything runs remotely, by email and the occasional video call. There is no Liverpool office and I do not hold in-person meetings.

Working with a freelance email marketer in Liverpool

Liverpool's independent shops do well on loyalty: people buy from brands that feel like theirs and tell other people about them. That is a good starting point for email, because a list that already likes you needs looking after more than persuading.

What usually goes missing is consistency. Campaigns go out when there is time, and flows were set up once and never checked again. A freelancer on a monthly plan fixes that without the cost of an agency team.

What is different about a Liverpool ecommerce list

Three things, in practice.

Visitors are worth capturing

The city gets a lot of visitors, and many buy from you in person and never again. A signup at the till or a card in the bag that promises something specific can turn a visitor into an online customer months later.

Sport and music drive gifting

Football, the Grand National at Aintree in April and the city’s music heritage all create gifting moments for the right products. If they fit, plan campaigns around the dates rather than reacting on the day.

Local and real, not loud

Liverpool buyers respond to brands that sound like people. Countdown timers and last-chance subject lines every week wear thin quickly and cost more in unsubscribes than they earn.

April and the summer events season can lift fashion, accessories and gifting. January is quieter and better for restock reminders and fixing whatever broke over Christmas.

In autumn, decide early whether to take part in Black Friday. Christmas is governed by postage cut-offs, so the email that states the last order date clearly is usually the most useful send of December.

None of that needs a bespoke strategy. It needs a calendar agreed in advance, so nothing is written in a panic.

How the monthly work runs, wherever you are

The arrangement is the same for a Liverpool brand as for one anywhere else. Everything runs remotely, by email and the occasional video call. There is no Liverpool office and I do not hold in-person meetings, which is part of why the price is what it is.

I work inside your existing email platform. Campaigns get written and sent, the flows your plan covers get built and looked after, list health gets checked, and you get one page of numbers every 30 days. The pricing page has the numbers, and getting started sets out the first month week by week.

What the first ninety days looks like

Month one: fix and build

Deliverability and list hygiene first, then the first flows your plan covers, usually welcome and abandoned cart. Nothing new gets sent into a broken account.

Month two: rhythm

Campaigns on an agreed calendar, drafted a fortnight ahead, in a template built for a phone. Further flows go in behind them if your plan includes them.

Month three: segment and refine

By now there is enough data to split the list properly and improve individual emails on their own numbers rather than guesses. The services page covers the ongoing shape of it.

Liverpool email marketing FAQs

Do you meet clients in Liverpool?

No. Everything runs remotely, by email and, when it helps, a video call. You are never waiting for a meeting to get an answer.

Do you only work with Liverpool businesses?

No. I work with shops anywhere. Liverpool has its own page because the questions come up, not because the method changes.

Do you reply to my customers?

No. Replies from your customers land in your inbox and stay yours to answer. I answer your questions about the email work.

What do you need to get started?
