Small text files placed on your device when you visit a site. They keep the site working, remember preferences, and tell the site owner roughly how the site gets used.

These keep the site functioning, including the session and your cookie consent choice. They do not need consent and cannot be switched off without breaking something.
Google Analytics, used to see how many people visit, where they came from and which pages they read. It collects anonymously and it exists so I can make the site more useful, not to profile you.
These can be set by third-party services to build a picture of your interests and show you relevant content elsewhere. They identify your browser and device. Decline them and nothing on this site stops working, you just will not see targeted advertising off the back of a visit here.
The consent banner appears on your first visit. You can accept everything, reject everything optional, or pick. You can change your mind any time through the cookie settings on the site.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings, usually under Options or Preferences: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Blocking everything may affect how this site behaves.
