Meta Ads in London

I manage Facebook and Instagram ads for London shops and ecommerce brands, remotely and monthly, alongside their email marketing. The ads find new customers. The email brings them back. This page covers what is different about running ads for a London business.

Everything runs remotely, by email and the occasional video call. There is no London office and I do not hold in-person meetings.

Meta Ads management for London shops

_□×

London has more independent shops selling online than anywhere else in the UK, and more brands competing for the same feeds. That makes Meta Ads in London more expensive per click than in most places, and makes it more important that the people you pay to reach end up on an email list.

That is the job I do: set up and manage the ads in your own account, and make sure the people they bring in land on an email list with a welcome series waiting for them.

Targeting London customers on Facebook and Instagram

_□×

Targeting all of Greater London is rarely the right call for a small shop. A homeware brand in Hackney and a bakery delivering in Richmond have very different audiences. Most London shops that ship nationally do better targeting the UK by interest, and using London only for local offers such as click-and-collect or a pop-up.

Competition for attention

London feeds are crowded. Creative that looks like it came from a phone rather than a studio often performs better, and testing several versions each month matters more here than anywhere.

The London calendar for ads and email

London Fashion Week runs in February and September and moves fashion and beauty audiences. The run-up to Christmas is the most expensive time to advertise, so building the list in October with lead ads, then selling to it by email in December, often costs far less than buying clicks in December.

None of it needs a bespoke strategy. It needs a calendar agreed in advance, with the ads and the emails planned together.

Why Meta Ads work better with email alongside

_□×

Most people who click an ad do not buy on the first visit. Without email, they are gone. With a lead ad, a sign-up form and a working abandoned cart flow, a share of them become customers you can reach for free.

It works the other way too. Your email segments tell Meta who has just bought (so you stop paying to reach them) and who your best customers are (so lookalikes find more like them). The full argument is in Meta Ads and email marketing together.

What Meta Ads management costs

_□×

Management starts from £250 a month and covers setup, creative and copy, tracking, lead ads, retargeting from email segments and a monthly report. Ad spend is paid by you straight to Meta. The full list is on the Meta Ads page and pricing.

London Meta Ads FAQs

_□×

Do you meet clients in London?

No. Everything runs remotely, by email and, when it helps, a video call.

Should I only target London in my ads?

Usually not, if you ship nationally. Target your whole delivery area and use a separate local campaign only for local offers.

How much should I spend on Meta Ads?

It depends on your prices and margins. I suggest a starting budget after the audit and will say if it is too low to learn from.

Do I need email marketing as well?

You do not have to, but most of the value of a new customer comes from repeat orders, and email is how you get them without paying for another click.
