Meta Ads in Dublin

I manage Facebook and Instagram ads for Dublin shops and ecommerce brands, remotely and monthly, alongside their email marketing. The ads find new customers. The email brings them back. This page covers what is different about running ads for a Dublin business.

Everything runs remotely, by email and the occasional video call. There is no Dublin office and I do not hold in-person meetings.

Meta Ads management for Dublin shops

Dublin shops sell to Ireland, the UK and further afield, in euros as well as pounds. Meta Ads can target each market separately, and email keeps customers in all of them buying. I work with Irish shops remotely, the same way as everywhere else.

That is the job I do: set up and manage the ads in your own account, and make sure the people they bring in land on an email list with a welcome series waiting for them.

Targeting Dublin customers on Facebook and Instagram

Run Irish and UK campaigns separately, with prices in the right currency and delivery times that match. Irish customers are used to waiting longer for UK deliveries after Brexit, so being clear that you ship from Ireland can be a selling point in the ad itself.

Privacy rules

Ireland follows GDPR and its own ePrivacy rules, overseen by the Data Protection Commission. Pixel tracking needs consent through your cookie banner, and email marketing needs consent or an existing customer relationship.

The Dublin calendar for ads and email

Irish bank holidays include St Brigid's Day in February and St Patrick's Day on 17 March, along with the first Mondays in May, June and August and the last Monday in October. Christmas is the main peak, and Irish delivery cut-offs should appear in both the ads and the emails.

None of it needs a bespoke strategy. It needs a calendar agreed in advance, with the ads and the emails planned together.

Why Meta Ads work better with email alongside

_□×

Most people who click an ad do not buy on the first visit. Without email, they are gone. With a lead ad, a sign-up form and a working abandoned cart flow, a share of them become customers you can reach for free.

It works the other way too. Your email segments tell Meta who has just bought (so you stop paying to reach them) and who your best customers are (so lookalikes find more like them). The full argument is in Meta Ads and email marketing together.

What Meta Ads management costs

_□×

Management starts from £250 a month and covers setup, creative and copy, tracking, lead ads, retargeting from email segments and a monthly report. Ad spend is paid by you straight to Meta. The full list is on the Meta Ads page and pricing.

Dublin Meta Ads FAQs

_□×

Do you meet clients in Dublin?

No. Everything runs remotely, by email and, when it helps, a video call.

Should I only target Dublin in my ads?

Usually not, if you ship nationally. Target your whole delivery area and use a separate local campaign only for local offers.

How much should I spend on Meta Ads?

It depends on your prices and margins. I suggest a starting budget after the audit and will say if it is too low to learn from.

Do I need email marketing as well?

You do not have to, but most of the value of a new customer comes from repeat orders, and email is how you get them without paying for another click.
